The Club was formed in July 2OO2. When the Stitch-me-Quick club and The Blackpool Ring of Lace Makers joined forces and became one group.

We renamed our club the Fylde Coast Crafters because as a group we now do allsorts of needlecraft. The crafts include Bobbin lace, Tatting, Needlelace, Cross Stitch, Blackwork, Crewel embroidery, American bead needle weaving, Machine embroidery, Stumpwork, Goldwork and we will have a go at any embroidery technique.

The club holds monthly meetings on the second and last Saturday of each month at the Spencer Court Day Centre. The meetings are held from 10 am to 4 pm and we try to have a workshop on some kind of craft each month, but sometimes we have a free meeting so we do UFOs (Unfinished objects). Our club is a group of very chatty ladies who are always pleased to see new members join us.

We never turn anyone interested in crafting away - all are welcome
